Special orders
let us bake for it
Bread and pastry for a group, baked with flour we milled ourselves. Tell us the date and roughly how many people, and we’ll come back with options and a price.
What we can make
- Breakfast and meeting trays. Croissants, pain au chocolat and morning buns, cut and arranged for a table.
- Bread by the loaf. Country sourdough, seeded rye and porridge loaf, sliced on request.
- Celebration cakes. Simple, seasonal and not overly decorated. Tell us the occasion.
- Flour for favours or gifts. Bagged and labelled from the mill, for weddings and corporate gifts.
How it works
Send the enquiry
A date, a rough headcount and anything you already have in mind is enough to start.
We reply with options
Within two working days, with what we’d suggest, quantities and a price. We’ll say plainly if the date is too tight.
Pick it up
Once you confirm, we bake it into the schedule. Collect it from our Beech Street location.
Notice and minimums

- 48 hours for trays and bread for up to about 20 people.
- One week for larger orders.
- Two weeks for celebration cakes, and for December, which books up early.
- A minimum spend applies. We confirm it when we reply.
If your date is sooner than this, ask anyway. We can sometimes fit a small order in, and we’d rather tell you no quickly than leave you waiting.

Tell us about your event and we’ll get back to you with options. We need at least 48 hours’ notice, and more for large orders.
Questions
Is there a minimum spend?
Yes, and we confirm it when we reply to your enquiry. It depends on what you’re ordering and how far ahead you ask.
Can you deliver?
Pick up from our 50 Beech Street bakery is the usual arrangement.
Do you have options for dietary needs?
We always have vegetarian and vegan options. Tell us about allergies in the form. Our bakery handles wheat, dairy, eggs and nuts, so we can’t promise an allergen-free environment.
Do you do wholesale?
That’s a separate conversation. Get in touch and choose wholesale or bulk flour.
